Gagangiri Ashram Khopoli: Darshan Timings and Mahaprasad Guide

When a visit is built around darshan or Mahaprasad, timing matters. A little planning beforehand can save you from arriving at an inconvenient hour or making your journey unnecessarily rushed.

The following timings are the current timings published on the official Gagangiri Ashram website.

Darshan and Samadhi

The Ashram currently lists:

06:00 AM–12:30 PM

04:00 PM–08:30 PM

These windows cover the morning and evening periods. If you are travelling from Mumbai or Pune, work backwards from the time you want to arrive rather than starting with the departure time.

Mahaprasad

The published Mahaprasad timings are:

12:00 PM–02:00 PM

07:30 PM–09:00 PM

If Mahaprasad is an important part of your visit, leave enough margin around your travel and darshan plans.

Why you should recheck before travelling

Ashram schedules can change for festivals, special events, maintenance or other local arrangements. A blog is useful for understanding the schedule, but it should not be treated as a live notice board.

Check the official website or contact the Ashram directly when a particular timing is important to your journey.

A simple day plan

For a morning visit, you can plan to arrive with enough time for darshan and then allow the day to unfold without a tight return deadline.

For an evening visit, remember that travel time after 08:30 PM can be very different from daytime travel, particularly for families or visitors relying on public transport.

The important thing is not to squeeze every minute out of the schedule. Give yourself a comfortable buffer and let the visit remain peaceful.
